Quality
I am a trained professional proofreader and an Associate of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) and follow the SfEP's Code of Practice. This means that you can rely on me to behave in a professional manner and at the standards you would expect from a professional.
Specifically, this means that I will:
- respect you and your wishes.
- respect the confidentiality of the material you send me.
- decline a job at the outset if I believe I do not have the time or the ability to perform it properly.
- be open in all my dealings with you.
I am fully competent in the use of the British Standard Institute proofreading symbols as specified by BS 5261C 1976 and the later 2005 amendments. I will use these in all my work unless you specify otherwise.
